Mark your diaries, the Harbour House Marina’s Boat Show is scheduled for Saturday, 20 July and with a plethora of boats on show, including Boston Whalers, Sea Rays, and Anglers, you are bound to find something that tickles your fancy.
General Manager of Harbour House Marina Jonathan Cuff said that boats will be available to test drive on the day and that industry experts, including representatives from Boston Whaler, will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions.
“If you’re thinking of buying a boat, or already own a boat, then put simply it’s the best day in Cayman to come out and look,” Mr. Cuff sad. “With all the boats in the water, great deals on boats, 20 per cent off chandlery and the chance to win 10 great prizes including a Boston Whaler, it’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone.”
“Our chandlery is the best stocked in the Western Caribbean and it’s a fantastic opportunity for boaters to take advantage of the discount not only for special purchases such as Garmin GPSs or kayaks but maybe more mundane items that they know they will need and use anyway such as cleaning products, fenders, or safety equipment,” Mr. Cuff added. “Many boaters come in before the show to make a list of items they need and come early on the day.”
One of the highlights of the show will be the new dual console Boston Whaler Vantage models, which offer a fresh new design.
“Boston Whalers are traditionally associated with centre console style fishing boats,” Mr. Cuff said. “While Boston Whalers make fantastic fishing platforms, most people that buy Whalers here in Cayman use them as multipurpose boats. The Vantage models, both 23 and 27 feet, are Boston Whaler’s brand new dual console design. This means the boat is a bow rider type with seating in the bow area and plenty of comfort all around. The seating design alone is amazing with a novel passenger seat that can be put in multiple positions from a leaning post right down to a sun pad and everything in between. They are still built in the same way as every Whaler with unsinkable Unibond foam construction with the very best materials available.”
The boat show was first held in 2004 to highlight the variety of boats on offer at Harbour House Marina. However over the years the event has morphed into a fun day out for the entire family which encompasses all the services which Harbour House Marina offers, from boat sales, servicing and chandlery to the brand new service centre – the largest dedicated marine service facility in Cayman.
The boat show will be held from 8am to 5pm at Harbour House Marina at the end of Marina Drive, Prospect.
