For the summer month of August kids are invited to the National Gallery’s Education Centre located at Miss Lassie’s Duplex, South Sound Road. Every Thursday of the month , kids will watch the world famous BBC Documentary Series entitled “Life” while learning to draw the animals and landscapes featured! Join us while we explore nature’s art through this educational series from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Children aged 6-11 years are welcome! Contact intern.ng@candw.ky for more information.

Held on the second Tuesday of every other month, 6pm, Harbour Place. A debate platform for artists and cultural administrators to discuss topics relating to art and culture in the Cayman Islands. Family Fun Day

The National Gallery holds its monthly Family Fun Day today from 11am to 4pm. The session is free and by drop-in. Bring your family to the National Gallery and explore the NGCI’s Imagination Station. The gallery provides the materials and suggested art activities related to the current exhibition, but you provide the imagination! These free drop-in sessions are held on the second to last Saturday of each month between the hours of 11am to 2pm at the National Gallery, Harbour Place. Free admission! Last chance to view A Day in the Life III Exhibition.
The National Gallery’s Artist in Residence Programme and exhibition A Day in the Life III, featuring well-known local artists Gordon Solomon, Avril Ward and Renate Seffer who transformed the NCGI into their working studios before mounting the completed works in three interconnecting solo exhibitions. The concept behind this unusual exhibition was modelled on a traditional artist-in-residency programme that provides artists to explore and experiment with their art. Held at the National AGllery located in Harbour Place building on South Church Street (across from Paradise Restaurant).
